The thing that’s kept her going: winning valedictorian. Her only rival: prom queen Shara Wheeler, the principal’s perfect progeny. But a month before graduation, Shara kisses Chloe and vanishes. On a furious hunt for answers, Chloe discovers she’s not the only one Shara kissed. There’s also Smith, Shara’s longtime quarterback sweetheart, and Rory, Shara’s bad boy neighbor with a crush. "Witty, hilarious, yet so emotional. The emotions portrayed here feel so real—like something you’d see happen in real life. Such realistic and animated characters, and I love the LGTBQ representation! This book is such a treat, and the cover is just as colorful as the characters. I also love the story itself; it really reminds me of John Green’s “Paper Towns”, which the book actually refers to in the beginning. A comedic mystery! Raw, relatable, funny, beautiful, romantic, you will love this book"
"absolutely unhinged academic rival lesbians, im obsessed with this book. while the plot was wild and it still had a realistic feel to it. the characters were written wonderfully and it felt like a very realistic portrayal of queer teens in the south. highly highly recommend this book!!"
