And he’s promised today will be the best day ever. "This was a slow burn, which I'm not always good with, but I really enjoyed this one. I saw other reviews stating similarities between Paul Strom & Patrick Bateman, and I definitely see it. Not Bateman's gore, but the way he thinks. I enjoyed Paul as an unreliable narrator.

I kind of wish the chapters could have been alternating, but I understand why they weren't. The book ended differently than I expected, and it was nice to have some surprises.

If you're looking for a new domestic or psychological thriller with an unreliable narrator, I think you'll enjoy this one. I had fun reading it."
