"I tried to like this movie, because it seemed to have the few pieces that usually make even a fair horror movie good. But the plot just fell apart. Without giving anything away, the plot made the native peoples that lived around the Mayan ruins to be very cold and heartless. Ultimately, there is a good story here which never has the chance to be told. Warning: ⚠️ Some Blood and Gore."

"A crappy horror movie that just drags on and on. I don't care about any of the characters. They make stupid bad decisions again and again after being warned by people not to go. I am a huge horror fan. This isn't even horror. I was bored the whole movie. In the beginning, I honestly thought maybe we would get a twist like Mathias is luring them out to be kidnapped or sacrificed or something like that. Or maybe the archeologist lady lured his brother to lure more people. I thought the movie was gonna pick up and get interesting. It did not. Boring all the way through. I thought maybe the monster will be some old powerful monster trapped in the ruins. The monster is a Carnivore plant. There are no twists, nothing explained about the monster, nor the village people. Nope, it's a stupid pathetic boring plant monster. So stupid. "
