"Diabolical and captivating. Anthony Hopkins is chilling as Hannibal Lector. Jodie Foster plays an FBI agent in training so very well. Recommended but know it's disturbing going in. A bit of trivia : Anthony Hopkins never blinks in his scenes as Lector. He thought it would add to the menace and creep factor. He was right. "
"The Quintessential crime movies of all time I’m pretty sure, well worth that tidal I think. Clarice Starling is one of the best “strong and independent” women ever put to screen, she’s smart but still venerable plus she is so sure of herself despite the men around her doubting and belittling her at every counter, and you know what she was right the whole time!!! I mean she’s made bad decisions but. 🤷🏻♀️"

"I first watched this in college and I highly recommend not watching it until then. Yes it's gory and disgusting but the story is intriguing. The serial killer is also very weird. But I guess thats normal. It truly shows the dark side of most things and is very creepy. Yet its still good. Hannibal redeems everything because his character is so captivating. Plus the main character and him have great retorts and conversations. There's a reason this is a classic though."
