"If you're expecting a masterpiece because of Jamie Lee Curtis, this isn't really it, though I won't rate it lower than three stars due to it just being so fun. Leslie Nielsen is also in this, from a time he was considered a more dramatic actor. It's super cheese but has a couple good kills, and Jamie Lee Curtis is of course one of the best parts of this movie. Also charming is a killer who seems a lot more human, though he wouldn't necessarily be part of the Mount Rushmore of horror villains. The movie is super cheesy but a good enough time to put this on alongside Jamie Lee Curtis's other work. "
"I have two things to say about this movie 1) the combined tenacity and humanness of the slasher makes chase scenes truly unnerving and 2) the film couldn’t afford the rights to the music they had filmed with so they wrote up generic disco songs in a few days that sound almost just like the music they had filmed with and it lead to a lawsuit. We couldn’t stop laughing when we heard the music "
