"I was a big fan of the comic book from Viz Comics, so I was happy that they stayed true to the original content. Christoph Waltz was a great fit playing Ido and I love that they gave Alita the big eyes manga style. Great action and CGI throughout. I would love to see a sequel, but a long time has passed already so it's unlikely. 9/10"
"I didn’t remember this movie so I rewatched it with my folks. I now know why I didn’t remember. The special effects are kind of cool, but the execution of the story was boring and left unfinished. And, the worst part of the whole thing is that the “red war paint” on her face in the posters isn’t paint at all. A puppy was murdered; off screen, and she decided to put his blood on her face. Oh and how people get to the sky city is seriously messed up. Poor Dr. Ido. "
