"In this final sequel of the unbreakable trilogy, there is a reckoning of sorts. Starring James McAvoy, Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson, and Sarah Paulson, our three larger than life characters, be they villains or heroes come together in a psychiatric hospital. The whole movie builds up to a crescendo that is as intense as the two movies preceding it. At the conclusion of the movie, the viewer is left wondering who is the true villain, and who is the real hero, but it certainly makes you think. That is what an M. Night Shyamalan movie does. The acting was very good, and the suspense was even better."
"Out of the whole trilogy, Split was easily my favorite, but I still thought this was a cool ending to the series - though I imagine that if I'd been a big fan of Unbreakable when it came out (in 2000!) this would probably be a disappointing wait (until 2019). Even so, I think the movie has an interesting twist that I wasn't expecting and despite the ending not being my favorite, it's respectable. Solid movie, 7.5/10💡"
"Great movie, until the last 20 or so minutes. Then, it falls apart with a twist that comes out of literally nowhere, and one actor's acting completely fails to adapt to the new revelation. Still a worthy addition to the Unbreakable trilogy, even if it's a bit of a letdown. I'd love to see more movies in the same universe. "
