Gamera 3: Revenge of Iris

"Shocktober 2024: This movie is unbelievably good. The 90s were kind of a slow decade for Kaiju fair but this may very well be the best kaiju movie of the 90s. The effects work is still top notch with this film incorporating more brutal horror elements into itself. It also introduced human Villains of a few different varieties including one absolute lunatic gamedev that is hamming it up through the movie. Asagi is back and her unflinching faith in Gamera is still a breath of fresh air and Osako is back and gets to be a bit of a mentor. But the star of the show is Gamera who pushes the limits of both how threatening and dangerous he can be in this series but also how sympathetic and kind. If you like kaiju I highly recommend this trilogy."
