"Dear Marvel, I have watched many of your movies over the past decades, but I am confused at the newest Ant-Man movie. Why are there so many characters in the movie that don't do very much? And why does it take 45 minutes before the movie gets good? I wish the movie had just been about Michelle Pfeiffer and Johnathan Majors as the villain Kang inside the Quantum Universe, and was about her adventures before she came back home to Hope. The cameo from a famous comedian was just ridiculous, and I didn't understand why you included that. The script was much more juvenile and childlike than the other movies. But, if you ever make a Disney series about the people in the quantum universe, I will definitely watch that. Perhaps this movie is a beautiful looking mess because this may be the last Ant-Man movie, and you figured: Let us throw in everything we wanted to include in the other Marvel movies but couldn't. Too bad. Johnathan Majors deserved better.
Sincerely,
your comic book movie fan.
P.S. Thank you for the mid-credits scene and the cool 😎 after credits scene."
"A great ending to the Antman trilogy expanding on the Quantum realm glimpsed in Antman and visited in Antman and the Wasp, while also giving a deeper meaning of the coming Avenger level threat told of on within the Loki series. Worth watching as we see what the Pym and Lang families have done, since the threat of Thanos came to a close in Avengers: Endgame!"
"I was excited to see this one and I wasn't disappointed... (This one made up for the lackluster 2nd of the 3, in my opinion.) The CGI was great, I've seen other people's reviews give this movie a hard time and I don't see why. I was thoroughly entertained. The imagination that went into creating the look of the Quantum Realm is amazing. Also the characters that reside there were varied, likable and plentiful. On the same level as Star Wars creatures. I will say it got a little silly at times, but that's part of its charm. Still plenty of action and the movie has a good pace to it. Looking forward to seeing where phase 5 goes after this. 8.5/10"
"This is my favorite MCU movie ever and I’m killing my self for not seeing it in theaters. Feige is basically living my dream life. We split at age 17 but we were a 16 year old long haired, nerdy, read everything, burnout to him now having an unlimited budget to make the coolest movies ever. Antman must have been his favorite when he was around 11 or 12 years old. Now he sees himself as the hero who gives all the credit to his wife and wants to protect/show off for his kids. The unbelievable, trippy ass world building is astonishing. And when I pledged my undying love for Michelle Pfeiffer after seeing The Fabulous Baker Boys and would watch everything she’s in, and i definitely got the deal if a lifetime. "
"8.5/10 SPOILER REVIEW: One of the best marvel movies since Endgame. It was weird and all over the place, and I adored that. Ten minutes into the film I was thinking “this is already a better multiverse movie than MoM and it’s not even in the multiverse”. I really enjoyed the effects of this one, they really showed off with their effects team talent. However I think the characters were seriously lacking in this one, which made me sad because Ant Man and the Wasp has such a great cast of characters and their stories kind of took a back seat here. I know the main purpose of this film is to set up phase 5 but I was still disappointed. One of the best parts of marvel is its character work and I didn’t see much development for any characters besides Kang and Cassie. I was the most disappointed with what they have Wasp. She’s in the title of the movie, she should have had such a bigger role in this movie. Scott and Hope have such a fun dynamic and I was really excited to see that unfold more on screen, but alas. Ant Man didn’t get much character development and Wasp didn’t get any at all. Janet got some but honesty I didn’t really care about Janet so it didn’t work for me. I was also disappointed with how they handled Modok. I waited so long for this icon from the comics to show up, and now they’ve killed him off immediately. I know he has a funky design but he should have stayed around for longer. Also, don’t give him a redemption arc. That’s silly. Don’t be silly. My favorite scene overall was the trippy scene with Ant Man as he was trying to get the core. Jonathan Majors was the highlight actor of this movie. I’m so wildly pumped to watch him spearhead phase 5. He is so talented and one of the best monologue actors Ive seen in modern film. He deserves the world (and the multiverse). We also saw some of the most unique character designs in this film, even cooler than GoG at some points. I’m very excited to see how Kang, the quantumverse, the multiverse, and everything unfolds. Good movie, go watch it in theatres!"
