Outbreak

"I truly enjoyed experiencing the suspense and drama of this military-based thriller. The cast is stellar. Dustin Hoffman, Morgan Freeman, Donald Sutherland, and Rene Russo as the leads, and co-stars Cuba Gooding, Jr. and, yes, Kevin Spacey. The acting is very good, and I enjoyed how the dramatic leads played out well off of each other. This film was on my list for awhile, and I didn't want to watch it for obvious reasons. The film is about containing a possible worldwide pandemic. I got over my fears today. As soon as I saw that the film is as much about solving a medical mystery as it is about containing a fast-spreading virus, I was moved by the intelligence and the humanity of the film, which contained some heartrending moments. It was certainly worth watching, even though the runtime is slightly over 2 hours. I was so engaged at the plot, that the time passed quickly."
