"Really good slice of life dramedy. Ray Romano is the writer/director/producer/star. We know, it’s been done a million times. But, you write what you know, right? So this is about an old white guy and his family, without any other kind of representation. We all understand if this isn’t your thing. But being an old white guy myself, I liked it. Great cast, interesting story and laugh out loud funny. But boy, is it white. "

"it’s crazy how this manages to tackle so many themes successfully. i really wasn’t sure how they’d pull it off towards the beginning, and honestly i was a little stressed, but it was pretty seamless. it appears basic but i find it very nuanced. the theme about growing up and finding an outlet as a quiet kid really struck a chord with me, especially from the dad’s perspective. they pulled it off wonderfully. truly a comfort movie. "Such a great movie. Family, love, heartbreak and some good laughs. Definitely glad I watched. I think Ray Romano has a future as a great director if they're anything like this. "

"I really enjoyed this movie and what it stood for and the message it's sending out. I know people think Ray Ramono, you're going to be laughing your ass off. This isn't that type of movie. There are some funny parts, but if you're looking for a good comedy, this isn't it. It's more of a drama. Still loved every minute of it, tho

"Beautiful and heartfelt film! A little bit of a slow burn for me but totally worth it. Love Ray Romano but especially a great performance from Lori Metcalf. "

"Exceptional directorial, debut by Ray Romano. This movie is a beautiful slice of life. The cast is unsurpassed, and this movie will be known for making a star out of Sadie Stanley. Going toe to two with Laurie Metcalf is no easy feat. "
