"I'd argue this is actually more thriller than horror, but I also agree with it being tagged as a horror movie. And though not a parody, there is some comedy sprinkled in which is very much welcomed. The scares and many twists are well done and thought out, and in the classic way of thriller/horror there's a lot of "the mc is an idiot" stuff, but I mind it a lot less in this movie than I have in other ones. It might just be me, but I also felt like there was a bit of social commentary in how the movie played out, which won't at all affect whether or not you like the movie, it was just surprising to see. 8/10🧻"
