Being able to see how Merlin struggles by finds himself in a place he could be killed, working hard to protect Arthur even though he doesn’t get credit, is by far a beautiful feature to Merlin. A wonderful example of friendship, love, and knowing you’re worth so much even if you don’t feel like it.
