JordyyI am unsure how to describe this book. It is definitely a dark Cinderella retelling (READ THE TRIGGER WARNINGS - I was NOT prepared for it). The writing was good but I didn’t really like any of the characters. The concept seems interesting but I just got confused with all the abrupt twisty turns and the conclusion left me scratching my head. Now I wouldn’t *not* recommend the book to anyone who likes this genre, but I am also not putting this on a reread list. Just a personal preference as I think the author did a great job on a debut book!!

JordyyReally enjoyed this book. Read it in a couple days and enjoyed the writing, storyline, characters, and integration of various sources of lore. Still new to reading books like this but The Wolf and the Woodsman takes one of the top spots on my fav list 🐺🌲
