"I don't think anything can compare to the original series, so I don't watch this series to compare it to the last one. A lot of the old My Little Pony was really bad, we got lucky with Twilight's generation of My Little Pony, because most of My Little Pony isn't great. Plus this series is following after the last My Little Pony which means no matter what it does it will never be that My Little Pony. All around I find this to be relatively harmless, not the best My Little Pony we've gotten but definitely far from the worst. I'm glad we've strayed away from focusing on the fact that everybody is dead that we knew from the last series. But it's still being focused on in the comics."
