"Similar to most crime shows, each episode focuses on a different case, but the bunch are tied together by Lidia's life happenings - mainly romance and her fight to be taken seriously even after proving herself on multiple occasions. Though based on a real person, I cant help but feel that a lot of her personal life is made up for drama, which makes me wish the focus were more on her feminist efforts. I like it either way, and do hope there is another season because I'd like to see more of her journey!"
"I LOVEE the aesthetic! It was like Enola Holmes but with a lot more exposure to women’s struggle against being treated as an equal to men in society. Each case was nice: innocent client, a ruthless and stubborn lawyer, and a bunch of dudes who want to take her down. Although the amount of nudity was unnecessary and not needed in the plot, I enjoyed the investigation and Lidia Poet’s awesome style and personality. Me, personally, would die for her wardrobe tyvm. And her hair, too."

"Most incredible thing I’ve ever watched. It’s got badass women, a complicated romance, rebellious teens, scheming family members, near murders, and not to mention it’s a period piece. Tells the (likely dramatized) story of the first female Italian lawyer that manages to both be enraging and inspiring to a girl who wants to be a lawyer when she’s older. The relationships between Lidia and her brother felt like a real sibling relationship and romance with Jacopo kept me on the edge of my (and yelling at my phone like a maniac). The ending has me so confused and hoping Netflix doesn’t mess up again and not renew it."
