"I have been watching this series one episode at a time and have found it quite engaging. It has introduced me to actors i didn’t know, some are terrific, some pretty awful. I recognized Achilles from the Diplomat and Hecuba from Selfridges and loved their performances. The others were new to me. Some viewer on other sites object fiercely to the multiracial casting, but while I often object to this practice, it was not an issue for me in this case. I did object to the excessive use of the lowlight camera. Too much takes place in the dark. Another thing I noticed for the first time is that almost all the male characters except Odysseus are really revolting people "
