"4.25⭐️ It took me a minute to get into this show, maybe about 3 episodes, but it’s turned out to be another new favorite! I absolutely love how it takes topics that in other hands might get fairly heavy yet somehow manages to make its points in a way that’s both breezy and sardonic, like it’s almost not happening but it is. The cast is also perfect though my favorite is Michael Greyeyes. At first his steely intensity is so convincing I was convinced his casino owner character Terry was going the way of Yellowstone’s Thomas Rainwater, but he really shows his acting chops before long adding layer upon hysterical layer of nerdy, insecure vulnerability to his formidable veneer. He’s just fantastic..not to mention the charisma 🤩. Ed Helms is annoying but funny and Jana Schmieding the endearing moral center and low key voice of reason. And it must be said Jessie Leigh as Bobby Yang really steps it up in season 2. Sadly this one has gone the way of a lot of good shows, shamefully cancelled after only 2 seasons. "

"This started as a simple show around a dunder-headed Ed Helms as a 7th generation inherited rich guy in the small town his family founded. Bringing in the native Americans who owned the land first - it quickly became a much richer and deeper story of that reckoning and growing up. I loved it. "
