"This was very similar to Business Proposal but I feel like the second half sets it a bit more apart from that drama. It was still really fun to watch, the humor for me was definitely the best part and made this a feel good show for sure which was nice to balance out all the feels from watching See You in my 19th Life (broadcast at the same time). 8.5/10, mainly losing points cause the root of Gu Won's story just never made total sense to me (about the fake smile trauma). "So far (episode 8) I really like this story. Lee Junho never disappoints! He’s one of the most charismatic actors in K-Drama. I will say the first kissing scene is one of the best I’ve seen. Very sweet and romantic. This is just a sweet story. My favorite line so far is when they are at the palace where kings lived during the Joseon Dynasty era and Junho says “This place seems oddly familiar”. In Junho’s last series, “the Red Sleeve”, he played Prince turned King Jeongin who lived in that time. Some of that series was filmed there. Give me more Junho! 😊"

"Other Kdramas that I've loved include Nevertheless, Crash Landing On You, Gangnam Beauty, and Business Proposal. I heard great things about this Kdrama but I honestly couldn't get through the first episode. There were so many cringey moments that I couldn't believe why this was rated so highly. I'm not sure if this is based on a Webtoon or not, but it gave me True Beauty vibes (and that's not exactly a good thing). I felt like King the Land was DOING TOO MUCH and I'm usually a fan of popular Kdramas so this was a sad surprise and flop. I'd rate it 2/10."
