"I honestly didn't think I was going to like this book. But it turns out I did. Jared really shouldn't have done those things, but I kind of get why. The other characters were funny in my opinion. Their love story was nice. I did make the mistake of reading aflame before all the other ones, so I have to read those now! But overall it was good!"

"hmm a good enemies to lovers. there was definitely a lot of angst - it was a little wattpad-y but honestly I was here for it. i’ve been reading penelope douglas’ books from new to old so this book did seem tame with spice to her others. honestly… I kinda miss the spice haha - all in all it was a good, angsty, read :)"

"I love most of Penelope’s books, BUT the only reason I don’t like this book is because most of my least favorite tropes are in this (“even though I did messed up things to you, I still loved you” garbage and miscommunication. It’s not it for me. But I will still read the rest of the series "

"The writing, the sex scenes, dialogue and plot were not giving. Would not recommend it to anyone...instead of information being uncovered it was released too early. Again, love Penelope, but it's going to be a no from me today"
