"Super good book! And such an interesting concept, you can really tell that the author did a lot of in depth research into her books topic. Since you know the samurai’s fate of the bat you think it’s sort of Inevitable and that it won’t affect you much when your gonna have to read it, but you finally get there and the author just punches you in the face with emotion, she really knows how to make you feel the pain and struggle all the characters had to go though. I really really wished we could have gotten more with Isla and Kei on the back end and how they were reunited I feel like that could have been such a good scene at the end but instead the author cuts it immediately off and it leaves you kind of waiting for more, but all in all great read, super easy to follow and a very fresh concept mixed with a very cool niche historical story."
