"Ok.. at first I was extremely skeptical of these books but let me tell you they’re amazing! I love how they incorporate the Villains and give their back story. Kinda makes you feel for them and then you remember how terrible they are! Lighthearted reads. "

"3.5 ⭐️ This book starts the “Villains” series which I’ve been advised to read in order of publication for it to make sense. This particular story bookends the Snow White fairytale with information about the Evil Queens past and gives you insight as to why she became who she did. It also ends with a bit of a twist which was nice. Its a short read but I hope the series picks up because I was a tad bored. "

"This made me TRULY hate the Queen that exists in the Snow White story. This is the first book in the Disney Villain series. It follows the story of the Evil Queen from her beginnings. It explains the queens upbringing, her background with her father, how she met the King, and her mentality to why she wanted to kill Snow White. This woman went from truly loving her step daughter to HATING her because her step daughter is beautiful and because she’s not UTTERLY DESTROYED after her father dies. Like I understand some villain stories but this one just baffles me. The story itself, the writing, and happening of events was great, I love how it kept the focus on the queen and helped us really understand why the Queen was so evil, though I definitely don’t understand her motives and how strong her vanity is, it’s a story of seeking approve and how loss can change you. If you like Disney or understanding all characters stories I think you should read it, it’s a very short read"

"I knew it was Snow White but I kept picturing the movie Enchanted because I don’t like Snow White so I forgot about the details. Overall it was still amazing when I finally found my place. 4⭐️"
