"When this came out Final Fantasy was my favorite game franchise. It might still be by pure number if not by percentage any longer so I was excited to see this wgen it first came out. I decided against watching it after my mom, who got me into the games, told me not to bother with it. But, you know, me and my mom frequently disagree on media so I figured I'd finally check it out and, what a delayed disappointment this was. It's so dull both storywise and visually. The visual aspect is particularly agregious as this is FINAL FANTASY. Even the worst games are visually interesting but this movie is so lifeless and grey. I honestly rarely check the time remaining as much as I did during this movie and I do not recommend it for fans of the games... or anyone really."
