"Dialogue in the film included scenes touching upon racism. Gibson’s and Vaughn’s characters critiqued US culture as though it was the real enemy. (Not good.)
The above aside, I enjoyed the film. Solid acting, interesting plot, and good action sequences interspersed within an intriguing slow-burn runtime.
Worthy of a recommendation… but, I can understand why some might steer clear of a film that touches upon racism and culture, while featuring a character played by Mel Gibson."
"Not good. Incredibly slow. “Slow Burn” without the burn. Once it picked up it was very predictable and a lot of holes. The gore in the moving did not serve a purpose to move the story along. The villain had no identity and the character was never developed. I didn’t like one character in the movie. "
