"I first heard of this musical in high school when it came out. My peers were playing the whole soundtrack all the time. I already knew of Hamilton from history class & thought his story was cool. So a musical about him fascinated me. I even wondered if they'd include how he die with his pistol pointed to the sky. I decided to avoid listening to the soundtrack with my peers in hopes one day I would get a chance to watch it & I didn't want it spoiled. Time passed & I forgot about it. Every now & then, the songs would show up & I avoided listening to them or tried to tune them out. I hoped one day my efforts would be worth it. Finally, Disney revealed they had the original Broadway production on video & were gonna add it to Disney plus. My chance had finally come! It came out a little before fourth of July. I know because on July fourth there were fireworks going off in the background as I watched it on the big TV in the basement. Five years I waited & it lived up to the hype & my hopes! I had no idea the whole musical was in song, & the ending was perfect. I loved it! There wasn't an experience like it in my life. I'd hoped & prayed one day I'd somehow get to see it in full glory & I got lucky. I couldn't stop watching it after. I got addicted. Eventually I did stop. But even now it's one of my favorite musicals. I love the acting & the humor within it. Plus, I'm a sucker for some founding father stories. This one pulled it off spectacularly! If you're like me & waited this long, it was worth the wait!"

"Absolutely not a fan of musicals at all. My daughter made me watch it with her. 😬 It’s a pretty impressive production and cast. You have to pay close attention to what’s going on as they literally sing everything. Giving it 4 ⭐️ only due to how impressive cast was in it. Definitely would not be able to sit through it again!!!"
