"So, this movie badly wants to be Get Out. It doesn’t quite succeed, but the gaslighting on many levels (pharmacologically, microaggressions, dismissiveness) really made me so angry at everyone but the main character. Bonus points for a queer BIPOC main character in an honest-to-god genre film, even if it doesn’t have a happy ending."
