"Overall the movie was entertaining. I thought DeNiro and Maniscalco actually had good on-screen chemistry. But for as great a comedian as Sebastian is, I thought the movie would be funnier. I did enjoy it, just not as much as I thought I would. 7/10"

"This is basically comedian Sebastian Maniscalco doing his stand up act in a movie that he stars in and co-wrote. Is the movie good? Ehh. Can Maniscalco act? He tries hard at least. What this does have is a fantastic supporting cast. I haven’t seen Flower Moon yet but this is De Niro’s best work since The Intern. Leslie Bibb plays the cutest girlfriend and Kim Cattrall showing she still has her fastball. There are some really, really funny parts and with the state of comedy movies these days, this is way above average and I did have fun with it. "

"I thought this movie was funny, heartfelt, and cute. De Niro and Maniscalco have a lot of chemistry as father and son and the jokes are chuckle-worthy. This movie is certainly Sebastian Maniscalco in every way- it feels like one of his comedy specials. Overall, this felt like a high budget, quality family film. The vibe was similar to My Big Fat Greek Wedding."

"I liked the message in this movie but it wasn’t as funny as I had hoped it would be given the massive talent involved. The funny scenes mostly felt forced and inorganic. Overall, it was a mediocre film with entertaining characters and a nice moral to the story about family. "
