The story of a trip to Lourdes by an assortment of Irish miracle seekers is engaging enough, mostly because this is uncharted territory for unbelievers like me. In the end, because this is that kind of movie, all the various plot lines are too tritely tied up, with happy endings all round. And while the faith that the characters place in the healing waters of Lourdes is unsettling and in real life dangerous, it left me wanting to know the history of this much venerated location. In total it’s a rather weak entry but one which engages enough and educates enough to spend 90 minutes or so on. "
