Anne GDefinitely has some creepy, suspenseful moments, but perhaps too many. They become repetitive and eventually lose impact. The author writes well, but the story starts meandering and the conclusion is rather dissatisfying. 2 1/2 but approaching 3 stars.

Anne GDespair, heartbreak, & hope woven artfully together in an ultimately heartwarming, charming, & moving story of an attempted bank robbery & subsequent hostage situation. Really funny too. Narrator for the audiobook is outstanding.

Anne GReread as an adult! Will still make you cry.
