"I don’t even know the fantasy genre like that but the high fantasy influence is obvious. Also gave it a try due to the Bastard Manga being an influence on the Guilty Gear fighting game series. Man this is fan service heavy. But I can enjoy something that indulges in its love of the genre. "

"this one was kinda weird, but by the end of the show I was intrigued by the plot, so I decided to like it instead of dislike it. lots of over-sexualization of women, which does tend to be a trend in anime, but this was like 👁👄👁 a lot. I also do not remember much aside from the action. overall, I wouldn't necessarily recommend this, but I won't tell you not to watch it either. SPOILERS: literally every woman falls in love with Dark Schneider, and while I respect having multiple partners and having that representation in media, I would really love it if the relationships were more defined, or a part of a hierarchy. DS clearly loves Yoko and Arshes, but like which one does he like most? also, Arshes is his adoptive daughter - why do they have to have a sexual relationship 😭 I won't say the same about Yoko, because Lucien and DS are SIGNIFICANTLY different. watching the ending of the series, I have no clue if the characters are dead or not - the second season is supposed to come out sometime this year, but idk if there will be an entirely new set of characters that we follow, or the characters currently in the show are going to cheat death...again."
