"It was really funny and enjoyable at first, but they completely ruined Wang Ling’s character at the end of the series in my opinion. Not every story needs a romance, especially when there’s no chemistry between the two supposed ‘love interests’. Not to mention casual fatphobia that I’m tired of seeing in anime and donghua; as well as unwell-written female characters."
