"This was fantastic. Stand up comic Mohammed Amer created and stars in this story about a Palestinian refugee, his family and their trials and tribulations. At times hilarious and at others heartwarming. Wonderful supporting cast. We might be in a golden age of sitcoms right now. "

"I'm really surprised to not have been recommended this show before, it's absolutely hilarious! In each episode I was cracking up, it was thoroughly funny the way I wish most comedies would be. The characters also feel very real, which I appreciate, cause it makes them relatable and helps provoke thoughts beyond the humor of the situation. Glad to see it'll be getting a 2nd season, though I also hear it's the last 🤔"

"Hilarious what a funny show - even if it portrays rough times through a life of an immigrant or refugee with no papers, one who tries to make ends meet but struggles at every corner! Season 2 was tough to watch as it portrayed the true story of his ancestors the homeland and the ongoing occupation - the ending was like a dagger to the heart. Beautiful beautiful show. "

"This show revolves around Palestinian man named Mo who lives in Houston. Him and his family have been trying to get asylum for over 20 years and he’s doing everything to keep him, his girl, and his family afloat.
It is so full of heart and showcases religion, history, and I love some of the guest appearances by Houston rap legends. Just finished season 1 and heading into the next."

"Started this show not too long ago. And went right into season 2. This show is a true gem. I wish Netflix would promote more. This show is not only funny and absolutely hits when it comes to social commentary and the current state of affairs in the world. The characters in the show feel so real, and in my opinion, that's down to the excellent writing. It not only knocks it out of the park when covering the struggles of being not only an immigrant but The Human Experience as a whole. And the struggles that come with that. That comes with life. The writers and the rest of the creative team do this also masterfully, and on top of that, the portrayal of neurodivergence is one that I wholeheartedly appreciate. All the props and praise to this show. It's excellent if you haven't seen it please do so! "

"This was really funny to watch. Mo and his friends, his little sister and the cop were funny. The part that my mouth was opened was when his assistant’s head exploded right in front of Mo, his friend and the other two people. His uncle was also another character that made me laugh. "
