Ryan King, a recent widower and sports talk radio host ready to get back to work after the loss of his wife. Ryan's alpha-male boss, Stephen, has a different plan in store for Ryan, making him attend grief counseling before returning to the air. A reluctant Ryan finds himself in a support group for "life change," where he meets an oddball cast of characters, all with their own backstories filled with varying degrees of loss.

"Not even a superfan but I just realized that for some reason I may have watched all of Mathew Perry’s post-friends shows. I think they just all sounded good to me and as I recall they all were. But every single one..poof! Just cancelled! Weird. I couldn’t remember the name of this one but it just came up on Peacock. There’s a great cast of quirky characters as a sort of frustrating found family in a grief counseling group. Mathew is Mathew of course as you would imagine. It’s weird, a bit edgy. Hijinks abound. A fun watch but sadly only one season. But it’s a long season. I’m gonna say 3.75⭐️ since it’s been awhile. "

"An interesting take on grief, with characters that were enjoyable to get to know. The only downside is that there aren't more seasons! And maybe when some of the jokes are kinda meh... But that's any show with comedy."
