"This is the most addicting and trippy sci-fi adventure I have seen in awhile. I binged all the episodes in a day and a half. Don't read any blogs about this series. Just go in without any information like I did. Each episode is incredible, mysterious, sad, but engaging. I absolutely loved that most of the characters spoke different languages. It was so novel. This is the type of series that makes me believe in Netflix again. I was so jaded at the content lately. Go for it!"

"🌟5/10🌟 Not as good as ‘DARK!’ ~ I had such high expectations for this series knowing that it’s from the same creators as ‘DARK,’ but I didn’t really care for ‘1899’ — It wasn’t totally bad… I only stayed with it because of its #WEIRD and #INTRIGUING characters & the great performances by all the actors. And the #EERIE #SOUNDTRACK was perfect for this show’s #CREEPY #SPOOKY and #MYSTERIOUS #SLOW_BURNING #HORROR vibe, BUT somewhere around the 5th episode I was growing impatient with where the story was going & also with its #SLOW_PACE, & although I stuck with it through the final episode, I really wanted to abandon ship!!🚢 … pun intended😉 — P.S., No spoilers here, but I gotta say this show kinda duped me in the end, although I inherently saw it coming🤦🏻‍♀️ — and if you DO decide to watch this, check out the ‘MAKING 1899’ show on Netflix afterward. I’m not sure at this point if I’d watch any further seasons or not🤷‍♀️ "
