"This series is a good addition to the horror zombie genre. It takes place in a Korean city in which all is well...until it isn't. No one really knows what the creatures are, or why they exist. There is an engaging plot, and the characters are all different or have their own agenda. There is also a cool soundtrack. There are three seasons. Korean audio."
"A fantasy drama based off a webtoon of the same name as monsters begin to emerge while the group in a residential building work together to survive both within their building and be ready for if monsters come in! Worth watching as the world building expand in future seasons, as every character works to live in the changing world around them!"
"I thought the story was weak and the acting was horrible, but I'll chock that up to being lost in translation since I watched the dubbed version. The only redeeming thing about this show was that the monsters were cool. Sorry that I wasted my time watching all the way til the end.
4.5/10"
"(S2 and S3 reviews below, they may contain spoilers for previous seasons) Different take from the webtoon, which actually confused me in the beginning cause of what I expected to happen, but it was really good! I'm excited for the second season to finally come out :)
S2 opinion: it was a letdown, it started off great and then just dragged (even though it was only 8ep.) The ending did leave me curious for S3 but I'm not even excited for it, cause I'm afraid they'll make the same mistakes as S2. But I still think S1 is worth watching, cause it was great!
S3 opinion: my expectations were extremely low for this one. It was easily better than S2, and I was content with the ending. However, in hindsight, I still wish they'd done these last two seasons differently. Either that they just hadn't done them, OR that in the case of S2 they'd take into consideration what made the show successful and not take such a drastic change in who we follow as characters. I know it's an apocalyptic show, but it's a SHOW and they have control of how to do these things and should take into consideration their audience, especially knowing they had complete freedom since the plot of the webtoon was fulfilled in S1. If you've managed to make it through S2, I'd say go ahead and watch S3, even if just for the nostalgic scenes of S1 and/or the main cast. "
"So this was a great series and I am rewatching again. The story of every character is interesting and like always Korean shows leaves us with a cliffhanger but they did say season 2 is coming out but no date. Anxious to see it, heard rumors that some actors will not come out in second season. I hope they are just rumors!"
