Road Masteris looking for a Book
I love a book with a good cover. (I totally judge a book by its cover.) I prefer, by far, a book with an image. With that in mind, what sci-fi or fantasy books have the best/coolest cover images? Newer or classic. If possible, I'd love to hear why you like it.

HaileyAll the covers are stunning but the UK first edition with the bee and the silhouette of the mc on it is the superior cover

JulzThis is a great cover for a fantasy book. It’s about a magical library. A book about books what more could you want! I really think you’d like it.

HaileyThe cover is stunning but the beautiful gown was just a beautiful gown cause this book was a snooze fest... **edit just realized you said sci-fi/fantasy oops

Jessica HI actually highly recommend this Seussian version. It boils things down to just the most important parts, it rhymes, and the pictures are fun.

HaileyThis is the UK cover, the US cover is so much better and eye catching, great read but not for the squeamish **edit just realized you said sci-fi/fantasy oopS

Jessica HThe cover kind of makes me think of Star Trek when they beam people from place to place, but in a more artsy way

HaileyI love a good mafia inspired story and this was pitched as Peaky Blinders but with magic... wouldn't reccomend if romantasy isn't you're thing, but it's one of the only romantasie's that I've read that wasn't trash

HaileyI like a bold cover but I also like a simplistic and unassuming cover, nothing about the story is simplistic though, so it kinda takes you by surprise.

HaileyIt reminds me of the Castlevania games I grew up on, it kinda gives me a hint of nostalgia when I see it.

HaileyThese new covers are cool, and I've been tempted to get them (the wolf image on this cover is created on the spines when their lined up), but I love the predominantly red old covers. They just scream old-school fantasy!

Brandon ReedThe eye is a common motif for 1984 covers, but I particularly like this one from the first copy I owned.

Brandon ReedThis is the graphic novel adaptation of Slaughterhouse-Five (Or, The Children's Crusade). I love the juxtaposition of the alien abduction with the firebombs. Impeccable design.
KammyNot the biggest fan of the cover art but the art on the book is sooo pretty. Also don’t know what it’s called; but the art on the inside of the cover is also pretty.

Brandon ReedEach volume of this manga series shows a major character as they appear to the world on the outer cover, and a mirror image representation of their inner self on the inner cover. I can't find any images, ATM, though.
