Yearning ? Spice ? Magic ? KISS KISS KISS KISS KISS Have I mentioned before that I am 100% for the amnesia trope because UH HELLO???? I haven’t found a book with this trope that has let me down YET! Everyone drop what you are reading and read this NOW"

"Excellent story with a great mixture of world building, romance, and captivating adventure. It is ALMOST a 5 star for me, but the ending!! I am not 100 percent sure I like where the story is going and I am now questioning how I feel about all of the characters. I am still recommending it, but I wish I knew when the next book was coming out. "

"Proud to be a part of the Metal Slinger book hangover club. It's heartbreakingly fun *cries*. Oh, the obsession. I read about three chapters and wanted to put the book down because I already knew I would love it, and my soul would get crushed. Even though I didn't want it but I raced to meet it. My husband even tried to take my book away because I was complaining and whining that my life was over. He almost lost a hand. This is one of those stories that has everything I desire in a fantasy. World-building, political intrigue, mystery, monsters, betrayal, unique magic system, and adventure. Honestly, I love the adventure most. Authors forget that there are hardships to travel or just get lazy and skip over that part. But it's a chance for us to get to know the characters outside their comfort zone. And of course, our main characters need to cuddle for warmth at some point, haha. Brynn was such a mystery. She didn't even know the most important things about herself. And Acker.... the piercings and a nose ring. I think I'm in love. I also really enjoyed his stoic nature. Most of the time, it comes off as corny in books, but he had me trusting every part of him. The romance itself was like warm water slowly enveloping me. The writing style was everything, I got way too attached to the characters, and they were making me feel things I haven't in a long while. And because I knew this book would destroy me, I think I loved it all the more. Halfway thru, I was mourning the loss of it. So now I am in limbo and don't know what to do with myself."

"THISSSSS BOOK. 🤯 I devoured it. I simply could not stop reading. The plot twist at the end made me throw my kindle and cry. My heart is shattered into a thousand pieces and I AM NOT OKAY. I am not sure how long it will take me to recover from this book… and I probably won’t fully until book two is in my hands. "
