But dialogue is so basic and the actors all seem like caricatures. I just get disappointed when a movie has an important message to convey and needs be heard but it fumbles the chance to be great. "

"This was a really great movie and maybe even deserving of the fifth star, but not quite. The story is a unique and powerful one, I wish more war movies shined light on those whos stories have never been told, because these women did so much and this movie is helping them get recognized. The acting was great, and in the group scenes the synchronicity was beautiful! For the most part the storyline flowed well, but there were some details that I failed to understand and wished there was a bit more explanation on. As this happened a few times I felt it was enough to lower my experience as a viewer and so my final rating is 8.5~9/10 📮 (I know it's a very indecisive rating) "

"As one who doesn’t often like Tyler Perry films .. this was completely different! This movie was amazing. Kerry Washington is an amazing actress and this was her time to shine! Screenplay was beautiful —realistic enough. Hard to watch at times but the women in this were strong and determined. Lovely movie! "
