"Oh I cried so hard during the beginning but I loved Dug, so me as a dog, and the adventure is excellent, a little scary and heartwarming. It was fun to see the reaction in the theater. Luckily, I travel with tissues. "

"After the love of his life passes away, a man takes an incredible journey to travel to a place they both wanted to journey since they were young! Along the way he gains a companion of a neighbor wilderness explorer and a talking dog, which help to understand the mystery of a South American location he and the wilderness explorer landed upon!"

"Certified tearjerker, the beginning of this movie will absolutely destroy you and then pick you back up to take you on a heartfelt journey of found families. Up is Pixar at that their best and most original we don’t get a lot of story involving our elderly but I think there should be more when they are presented with such care and thoughtfulness. "

"Cute story. The beginning is super sad and a bit traumatic, though, for a kid's movie. It has all the makings of a great Disney Pixar movie, but the best part is that it's about friendship between a little boy and an elderly man. Not everything needs to be about fairy tales 🩷"

"I am sorry, I am not a Pixar fan. I completely understand why people adore Pixar movies and one like Up too. I do equate this to Pixar movies getting overplayed for me as a kidm they were always on tv for a while and teachers thought they were cool the more Pixar movies they played because they as adults could handle them better. Which left this lasting impression on me.
It truly is emotional and it will pull at your heartstrings. Since I care more for action than crying it's not for me. There's a reason I don't watch the sappy chick flick movies. This is just not a movie I will ever wish to put on. Maybe once in a blue moon and it's always because of the opening and ending. Which tends to be the pattern for most Pixar movies with me. The beginning and ending are just incredible. So yes. I get why people love it and it does work. It just doesn't appeal to me."
