Cynthia Martinez-WalleyA bit of slow start but really great story. I wish that we had more of a plot line with Vin, but I'm shocked at the ending that all 3 of them ultimately end up together. I was worried that Joanna was dirty but glad she only wanted revenge on micheal. What a mind puzzle.
Cynthia Martinez-WalleyGah! This was so good. I think I still like Knox and Naomi's story a little better but this was still amazing. I can't believe that damn Dilton shot him! And I knew that cereal isle guy was bad news from the jump. My favorite part of the book though? Lucian and Sloane ended up together. I NEED their story 😍
Cynthia Martinez-WalleyThis book was sooo good. My first from this author and I'm hooked. I enjoyed her smooth and easy to read writing style. The twists and turns kept me captivated and eager to finish the book.
Cynthia Martinez-WalleyI feel like this book had so much potential but fell flat. So many strings left untied. I thought for sure he planned the plane crash but nothing. Very disappointed.
Cynthia Martinez-WalleyI was really worried that book was going to be a bit predictable. But it kept me on my toes, and still had twists and turns when she could have easily wrapped it up. I'm glad that sloan and Luke end up together and so cute that they named their son Dalton. On so many occasions I felt sympathy for Asa only for me to be jerked back to reality. I would have liked to know what happened to Jon or if Ryan and Tillie ever had a thing but other than that, this book was very satisfying and was finished in a day and a half.
Cynthia Martinez-WalleyHow wild!! Twists at every turn! I feel like Margot as a journalist did maybe more than most journalists would have e done but I think she may have really been driven by her personal connection. I am so glad that Luke was innocent. I am so sad that we still don't know what actually know what happened. I'm think that because she got her article out and everything she asked for from her job, her demise is certain. I can't believe that Billy actually did it. But everyone made poor decisions simply because they assumed and never asked. I hope Ashley continues to write. She is an amazing story teller and I look forward to her future works.
Cynthia Martinez-WalleyThis was so good! My first J Clark book, and I think I might have a new favorite. The book stayed intriguing the whole time! I am sad that Meg never got her childhood house back that she did complete her mission. Kats character had me liking her some parts, wanting to shake her in others, and then wishing her well and wanting her squeal! These characters were well written and intertwined into eacherothers lives in the best way. I need more meg!
