HappyHear me out. This series is the first of three written by Mo Xiang Tang Xu. It is also her weakest one, in my opinion. Don't get me wrong -- it's a good story, an addicting read, and (perhaps more importantly in this case) has a fanbase that writes the most amazing fanfiction. I cannot recommend it enough for that reason alone; though it is my least favorite of MXTX's works, it has the best fanfiction. SVSSS is written in a very self-aware way, wherein the author subverts and/or leans heavily into tropes of this genre to be a parody of sorts. It's a very humorous, emotional, and fun read. That said, and without getting into spoilers, I just couldn't bring myself to get into the relationship of the main pairing. I've heard many, many arguments for why it's a good pairing AND I've read many fanfiction where they are explored and enjoyed those thoroughly, as well. It just didn't work for me. But give it a chance for yourself!
HappyThis was one of the series I devoured in my teenage years, and that I've enjoyed rereading just as much in adulthood. One thing I always tell people, when recommending this series, is that the author does an amazing job of writing in his characters' voices. As they age, grow, and experience adventures through the series, the maturity they begin to show is evident. Fantastic series.
HappyTGCF is my favorite of Mo Xiang Tong Xiu's novel series. The characters are well developed, the main romance is addicting but also not distracting from the plot. TGCF covers some very dark themes, puts the characters through many challenges, but don't worry! It's all worth it. :)
Matt NelsonOh this is one of my favorites! 🧡
HappyHowl's Moving Castle is in my top 3 Ghibli movies. It's well deserving of the popularity it has. Beautiful atmosphere, world building, and character development.
HappyDefinitely one of my favorite Ghibli movies. If you're looking for a cute, well-made world to get lost in, dive in here. :)
