"This 5-episode series is based on disturbingly true events. It premiered today & so far I’ve watched the first episode & I’m about to watch the 2nd (the final 3 episodes are due to be released each day, successively). So far, so good! 👏🏽👏🏽 The first episode successfully pulled me in & it set up the main characters in this dramatic true-crime story. I’m ready for more! Good suspense! #Hulu"
"Short series and really gets to the point! It doesn’t extend it and adds unnecessary information it was perfect! I enjoyed it and it really filled in the space! I was hooked and obsessed! The aesthetics are beautiful. A perfect suburban family turns out to not be so perfect and getting involved in a crime! It might have been Candy ‘s crime but it affected their whole family! #Hulu #crime #truecrime #mystery #1980s "
"Really enjoyed this an easy binge with a great performance by Jessica Biel"
"I’m such a fan of the true crime and period pieces so when you put that together it’s perfect for me. My god is this story shocking crazy wild especially because I knew nothing about the crime. Hulu is really producing these true crime mini series. I can’t believe Jessica Biel is 40 years old now because she definitely don’t look it.. She has such longevity in her career. I still remember when I was a kid watching her on 7th heaven some of y’all might remember that show lol……..This series is a must watch for any true crime fan."
"The burn was too slow in this docudrama. I felt a lag throughout and felt like I was always waiting for the series to move a bit better. 🌟Pros: The performances were good most notably Jessica Biel as Candy. It was interesting seeing Justin Timberlake as the deputy and he pulled it off nicely. I think my favorite aspect of this series was the dedication to setting; in this case the 80’s. However, with all of the content these days I would pass on this series. "
