"Wow, I have never seen a show get more vitriol than this one. Scooby fans are fired up! I was never a huge fan of the original, but like everyone my age, I’ve seen them all. And the one thing you Can Not Do is change Shaggy 180 degrees. It’s not the actors fault. It’s the way he’s written. We need to assume Shaggy is stoned 24-7. That’s my only problem and if that would have been different I could have really gotten into it. "

So Daphne is adopted by two mums and is a drug dealer. Freddie is a prepubescent creep with anger issues. Shaggy doesn’t smoke and is kind of fearless. Really the only thing that’s the same is their outfits and that Velma is gay. This isn’t Scooby Doo. "
