"I've started watching this and it is weird to my old school Scooby Doo self... Will update if I have further thoughts. Check it out for yourself. :UPDATE : I gave it a few episodes and I just don't like it. I agree with some of the reviews listed here and will not give it anymore of my time. "
"This show is uncomfortably racist and sexist. It's cool to finally see an R rated Scooby Doo show, but Its pretty hard to sit through all the meta jokes and rough dialogue. I think a show similar to 2010's 'Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated' but with a hard R rating would have been a lot better. "
"Wow, I have never seen a show get more vitriol than this one. Scooby fans are fired up! I was never a huge fan of the original, but like everyone my age, I’ve seen them all. And the one thing you Can Not Do is change Shaggy 180 degrees. It’s not the actors fault. It’s the way he’s written. We need to assume Shaggy is stoned 24-7. That’s my only problem and if that would have been different I could have really gotten into it. "
"Mindy Kaling, Constance Wu, Sam Richardson and Glenn Howerton lead an adult-oriented animated series about the early days of the Scooby-Doo gang, minus Scooby-Doo. I still don’t know how to feel about this prequel after two episodes. It’s very self aware but it might play too much into meta humor. Its still a funny show so far that kept me somewhat entertained. The only thing I didn’t like is at times it almost seemed like Riverdale and I HATE that show. I really can’t judge it as a whole until I see the rest of the season.
