"A great series based off a book series of the same name, expanding the world read in the books while also giving a deeper viewing time as a season compared to the length of films!"

"Such a good show. It’s captivating and full of fantasy and wonder. Between the storyline and the characters this show is impossible to dislike. Although the ending is heartbreaking this show is definitely worth the watch. I loved it, it’s a 10/10."

"I have yet to finish this but I was really enjoying it and obviously it gets bonus points for James McAvoy. I might potentially revist it "

"I wish this miniseries had a better understanding of its source material. Many background characters have no daemons or whose daemons go absurdly far from their humans, which make it weird when we run into billy costa and we’re supposed to be terrified of him. As much as it’s cool to see lee Scoresby so much, he serves as Mr Exposition in storydragging ways. They also did not make lord Asriel intimidating enough."

"I've always loved The Golden Compass movie so I was absolutely ecstatic to see this being made. And I'm already loving it.
It does seem to use a lot of useless scenes and moments sometimes to fill in an episode but I still like it.
I think they could feature the deamons more too. Plus the main girl is weird but that's mostly because I liked the one in the movie so much. She was perfect and this girl isn't. It be like someone else trying to play Tony Stark but wasn't RDJ. Still very good.
However, sadly it lost my interest. While I fully intend on watching it some more, nothing is making me do it now."
