Colleen Hoover
Lily and her ex-husband, Ryle, have just settled into a civil coparenting rhythm when she suddenly bumps into her first love, Atlas, again. After nearly two years separated, she is elated that for once, time is on their side, and she immediately says yes when Atlas asks her on a date. But her excitement is quickly hampered by the knowledge that, though they are no longer married, Ryle is still very much a part of her life--and Atlas Corrigan is the one man he will hate being in his ex-wife and daughter's life.

"I want to start off by saying I love Atlas and his kind heart. ❤️ All the things he went through with still having such a kind heart and taking care of others just shows what type of man he is. Atlas and Lilly’s relationship was so beautiful. My overall thoughts is that I don’t think this book should have been written at all. I felt that Colleen Hoover was trying to extend something we all knew the ending too. It felt to cheesy and fake and too happy, it didn’t feel real if I’m going to be honest. This book actually took me several days to finish just because it was hard for me to focus and get into the story. The first book “It Ends with Us” had me hooked from chapter one and I feel like it was well written where we didn’t need this second book. I really hoped this second book would have focused more on when they were younger, i really enjoyed the letters and was hoping for more of that because we all knew what the ending would be. "
"3.5 ⭐️ - I loved "it ends with us" and couldn't put it down. The beginning of this sequel had me interested, but I lost motivation to finish about halfway through. I liked it overall just for the "happy ending," but it all felt so forced. The last several chapters were lazily written just to wrap everything up. I think she should have gone with her gut and not written a sequel, Tik Tok peer pressure be damned."
"•SPOILER WARNING• I really enjoyed this book! It was great to see Lilly be happy and get to live her life. I also liked how Colleen showed the relationship between Ryle and Lily even though they are divorced. A little off topic but I loved Theo soooo much! I saw a lot of myself in him and think that Colleen did a really good job of writing his character! I was scared that she wasn’t going to do the second book justice but I was pleasantly surprised. Loved the book and would 100% recommend this series. "
"I jumped right into this sequel after finishing the first book and I think that was the right move as this book felt more like a prolonged epilogue than its own story. While I appreciated the dual perspectives from Lily and Atlas and the deeper look into his background and family, I felt it was lacking that extra something. Overall, a quick read and a natural extension of It Ends With Us"
"An absolutely healing journey. I loved that this book was a duet between the FMC and MMC. Again the character development was realistic and I felt connected to each character’s feelings. It was somewhat predictable but that is honestly something I liked about this book since it wrapped up Lily’s story. Only 4 stars because there were obvious mistakes in the writing at the end. And the letters were repetitive from the first book. However I liked that and I do think that was on purpose as a refresher for those who are not reading the books back to back. I’m so glad to have this book as it gave me closure and I’m not worried about Lily any longer. Definitely, I would recommend to a friend."
