"This was way better than I expected. It's relatable for different ages and stages of life. Jennifer Lawrence is spectacular. Andrew Barth Feldman, who plays Percy, is excellent as well. Also Matthew Broderick is in this and I barely recognized him until he spoke. I'm glad I watched this. Recommended. "
"4⭐️ Ok was not expecting the full frontal but it was HILARIOUS! 🫣🤭
This is more tender than I expected though and more a coming of age saga for both leads despite the age difference. There’s also some good laughs, nice photography and scenery and a fantastic soundtrack grounded by Maneater in a surprisingly poignant scene!
But if they were willing to go so far it seems the taboo edginess and counterbalancing poignancy both could’ve been pushed further.
A very entertaining way to spend a summer afternoon though and I enjoyed it. It just didn’t stick with me very long.
Still a #funsummercomedy!"
"When I think of Jennifer Lawrence I generally think of her as a dramatic actress. It never occurred to me that she would have the chops to do physical comedy, but she does a fantastic job in this somewhat raunchy comedy. I was laughing for most of the movie until the storyline changed to a heart warming film about getting to really know people. And that's not a bad thing. The movie flowed well and was a fairly quick watch. 8.5/10"
"This movie is hysterical and proves that Jennifer Lawrence was practically made for comedy. She was a riot and Maddie was such a fun character to watch. Andrew Barth Feldman was so precious in this film and I felt so protective of Percy. He was so sweet and pure. They had amazing chemistry and it really felt like they were best friends. The movie had its cringey moments, but it honestly just made it funnier. A new fav!!"

"This was pretty good. I thought it was just gonna be a raunchy comedy but it’s also a really good look at a large section of today’s youth I see all the time, having two teen girls. I worry about them but am also hopeful they’ll change the world. It also shines a light on how each uses their own sexuality. The comedy is solid and the restaurant scene is one of the best of the year. Plus Jennifer. Whew. "
