"I thought this book was pretty good, there were some chapters were it felt like filler/a sit down recap of what just happened, but overall the magic system was super cool and the fantasy was awesome 😎 "

"Great fantasy fiction inspired by Arthurian legend. Be warned, it’s a duology and the second book isn’t out yet and the end of this book has quite the ending and cliffhanger. "

"I love how this book starts, witchy and dark in a dirty city. (Sorry Charleston.) I love the relationship between brother and sister, and their backstory together. I hate the other male characters, although I think they are meant to be hated, they remind me of my middle school bullies. I love the plot twists and the other beasties and mythology."

"i like the book but to me the characters was flat until it was the end of the book which i did not like and the story i felt the story line need something like a plot twist it did but not a big until the every end of the book. i never read a book that had a king Arthur story in it which was fun. i give this book a 3.5⭐"
