Wow, this was outstanding. Absolutely gorgeous animation. Essentially a silent film. Doesn't hold your hand, expects you to keep up. Love that in a film. 5 stars.

Has anyone checked this one out? Is it any good? It sounds like it was renewed for a second season. That’s a good sign, right? https://thedirect.com/article/school-spirits-peyton-list-voice-change-sound-different-explained# #supernatural #ghost #ghosts #ghost_stories #ghoststories #ghoststory #spirits #otherworldly #paranormal #mystery #paramount #paramountplus #netflix

I just re-watched for the first time since reading the book and its sequel. I know lots of people criticize the movie for not being a faithful adaptation of the book but I'm actually really glad it's not and believe the differences between the two versions are one of the biggest strengths for each version... It keeps either from spoiling the other and keeps you guessing what will happen next. I'll go into greater detail in comments on this discussion but be warned they will contain spoilers.

Okay, so when did the “old main character becomes old mentor to new character trope” become so despised? I freaking love that trope and I thought other people did too. “Batman Beyond,” “Creed,” “Legend of Korra,” “Logan,” all of these popular things have that trope and they’re all cool. I like seeing old characters I love passing on their knowledge to a new generation; I think it’s interesting and fun. I don’t get why people hate it now and I really don’t wanna see it die.

Okay, from what I'm hearing, not many people are watching this masterpiece (either because they don't know about it or the trailers didn't appeal to them) which means it will flop. We can't have that happen, so if you're seeing this, I ask that you go watch it. Even if you're not a Transtormers fan, it's great for explaining the lore to new ones, and so I think it'll be equally enjoyable for all. The designs, animation, setting, and character arcs are all super well done.
