There's a Santa on dog sedatives, a seaside serial killer on the loose, a woman flaunting that she has a dead husband, a high-key hot Liev Schreiber as a trans woman, a Chinese-rib eating virgin Mary, a suicide helpline which causes more deaths than preventing them... Against all odds, this film is a festive gem. This would be perfect viewing for Christmas Eve; bonus points if you get Chinese takeout. It's kitsch, cute, quirky, and darkly hilarious."
