"Four episodes in and this anime gets gloriously dark and Gothic. So glad that I stuck with it. Wondering why The Witch and the Beast isn't receiving more buzz about it. Story and animation is solid. "

"I'm really enjoying this show. Just finished Season 1 and will be very sad if it ends here. The world is rich and darkly beautiful, and the characters are fascinating. I'm under the impression many people haven't given it a chance, and if you enjoy dark fantasy then you are missing out. There are, of course, a lot of mature and potentially troubling themes, as well as a decent amount of violence and gore (hence 'dark fantasy'), but it's one of the few series from Winter 2024 that I absolutely was looking forward to every week."
